LiDBA Annual Bike Ride Charity Evening

The annual LiDBA Charity evening was held at the Millennium Hall on 13th October 2009. At the evening LiDBA announced that the Charity Bike Ride, held in June, had raised £61447-00 which is a record in the 19 years of the Bike Ride. 72 local charities will benefit from the proceeds of the Ride and those attending the evening were given their cheques.
Barbara Crook was awarded the Michaelson Cup for outstanding services to the Ride since the event was started.
The next Ride will take place on Sunday 13th June 2010.
LiDBA are always looking for volunteers to help with administration on the day, marshalling or crowd control. If you would like to offer your help please contact me at roger.miller@lidba.co.uk.
