I'd like a Bacon Roll or 2.
Also I'll second the call for the animals. Has anyone thought about Donkey / Pony rides. I would be easy to do a lap or two of the village green.

More Artisan stalls, less jewellery.
And maybe a bouncy castle.

Donkey rides and a bouncy castle?!
Isn't it meant to be a monthly produce market rather than a village fête?!
Personally I would like to see a candy floss machine and a helter skelter.

Well .......
I may not have explained very well we are a local market for handmade goods from local crafts people and producers we would like to keep it that way
We are trying to find local meat, veg, cheese, bread etc but it is not an easy task so if any body knows someone who knows someone then please drop into the market as pass on the details.
The committee has spent hours and hours email after email sending out details with only a small number of replies
We do have on boards Flashy Food and this month Arnolds condiments ( Sauces and ketchups )
Daisys tearoom , local honey and eggs , some fresh cakes and savourys ( ies ?) also jams and chutneys for sale. Not forgeting Dylans Ice Cream
As to Jewellery this is one area where we have limited the number to 4 per market along with cards as there has been a very large amount of applications in that area.
We did try Bacon rolls for a few markets but the sales where very poor
I am sure there will be more fruit and veg when the seasons are right
Sorry but animals and a bouncy castle is more of a village fete type thing ?
But for the Christmas markets we may have a few ideas up our sleeves
And IF the weather is kind in the summer a few outdoor stall might be nice ( A big IF that is )
Hope to see all of Liphook at the market on Saturday

I did try to start up a collector/antiques fair, regularly on a Sunday, as I used to do one in Pagham, which was very popular and extremely well supported, but I got no response at all from the public.

Whatever happened to the French food market that used to be on the green? Would be fabulous to have it back.
