Carnival 2015 - Karen Feeney (23rd Feb 2015 - 14:52:02) Just to remind you all that we are holding a meeting next Wednesday (4th March) 8pm at Liphook Millennium Hall . We will be discussing ways to help keep our much loved annual Carnival going strong and would welcome anyone who has ideas or wants more information on taking part to come along. We will have lots of pictures, stories and float building inspiration from our regular Carnival participants. We are looking for new committee members too, so if you have been thinking about joining our merry band, this is the perfect time for you to come and meet us! PLEASED of course but they need to get stuffed. maybe an advert in the local schools news letters may help, parents might want to join in and help but not read this

We look forward to hearing your views and ideas about how we can ensure our Carnival continues for many years to come. This meeting has been advertised at the village schools and I hope we attract lots of new faces. It should be a very informative and entertaining evening so I hope you can come and join us! With regards to reports about the carnival coming to an end, it's true that we have been dangerously close to calling it a day over recent years as we need more help and more floats. Hopefully our meeting on Wednesday will address both of these issues!
