Huge quantity of books - Dawn Hoskins (1st Oct 2009 - 16:46:03) I have tonnes of books going spare as we have just dismantled a book case. Most of the childrens ones are unread! I would take charitable donations for them. Childrens titles / authors consist of: Roald Dahl - all of them! Eva Ibbotson - all of them! Horrible histories - loads of them Animal ark - loads Adults Terry Brooks - loads Tad Williams - loads The belgariad series Iain Banks Frank Herbert Larry Niven Anyone that would like to come and look and put a donation in the Breast Cancer Awareness charity box - let me know. There are just too many to list. Would make very good stocking fillers for Crimbo.....

Re: Huge quantity of books - marian camilleri (1st Oct 2009 - 17:15:04) Hi Dawn I recently took my kids no longer wanted books to the Junior school who were very grateful. They only take books in good condition but at least they are well used and it saves the school a fortune as some of the books don't always make it back to the school. Just a thought if you get no takers and you want the books to go to a good home.
