Any volunteers? - Dawn Hoskins (18th Sep 2009 - 10:05:42) I would like to sort out the pavement in Passfield that is becoming a bit overgrown with weeds. It has only been down a very short while, but because it is not tarmac the grass etc can get a hold very quickly. I'm sure we could wait for the correct 'officials' to do it - but as the nights are drawing in and the stuff is a bit slippery I think it would be a good idea to get a little working party together armed with weed killer! Any one like to help?

Re: Any volunteers? - Dawn Janette Hoskins (22nd Sep 2009 - 16:13:49) Well, after the tsunami of volunteers rushed forward, I have decided that we (me and ONE other volunteer!) should do this before it gets cold and wet. This Saturday 1pm. I would like to thank Liphook Harware who have volunteered some sprayers for the job. Thanks guys. I'm sure I won't get trampled in the rush, but if anyone else would like to assist, just turn up with some marigolds! Also, I'd like to state that the volunteer is a Parish Councillor. Excellent. I wonder if any more will turn up to help?? Dawn.
