walking groups
- gillian halliday (12th Feb 2015 - 12:13:04)
I see that there are walking groups for haselmere and petersfield...but have never seen anything for liphook...so i was wondering if there was a group that went on walks around liphook. If so I would really appreciate someone letting me know. As I'm trying to build up my strength after an illness I am not looking for a serious hiking group who enjoy climbing mountains...but people that are over 60, but not over the hill, who enjoys walking with company.

Liphook & District Ramblers have been producing a quarterly programme of walks since 1984. A friendly group, the programme includes walks on Tuesdays, Saturdays and/or Sundays of between 4-10/11 miles with occasional longer ones.
Visit www.liphookramblers.Wordpress.com for details or see under clubs and societies on this website.
There is a contact form on the website if you wish to contact them.

We usually walk for about 1 hour, the walk is designed for those eager to start a regular walking habit and/or improving their overall health through gentle walks around the many interesting footpaths of Liphook.
