Bohunt manor tax avoidance

Bohunt Manor Tax Avoidance
The goverment tell us we all have to pay our fair share of taxes.
Why are we even considering a planning application from a company based in Liechtenstein & an individual who is not uk based.
As a minimum all applications should be uk based so tax due is easily collected & benefits the whole country.
If we all lobby our local MP / Council we can stop this loophole.
It is disgraceful that this application is even being considered when the developer does not treat the residents of liphook with respect.
He has tried his best to create an eyesore by removing hedgerow & trees.
Cutting tracks in the land excavating footings & erecting fencing with no intention of completion all to try & force the planning decision.
We have to live with our landscape blotted for years when the developer is not even in the country!
Yes he owns the land but it's still our village!
Any lack of respect to the local community whilst applications are tabled should carry some weight against any permitted development.
Please lobby our local MP / Council
It's our village why should we liphook residents allow this aplication to be considered from a developer who shows us no respect & is not even based in the uk!

All you can do is object (if you feel strongly against the application)
Planning Application SDNP/14/06426/OUT

As for the tax thing - many companies seek and get tax avoidance advice from PWC (Price Waterhouse Coopers). Ironically, the government pays huge amounts to PwC for them to help with important policy research.

The so-called "developers" are probably British.

Unless by some fluke UKIP win the next general election, you are whistling in the wind with that one.
There is nothing in current law to say that a landowner has to be based in UK to apply for planning permission, and indeed you don't even need to own land to put in a planning application on that land, so for example, you or I could put in for planning permission for development on the Bohunt Manor site, pay the requisite fee and SDNP would have to consider granting planning permission.
There is absolutely no point in writing to SDNP to ask them to change this, as it is totally outside of their scope of responsibility.
