Children's competition - Katy Clarke (3rd Sep 2009 - 09:16:15) Hi The Bramshott Liphook and District Horticultural Society autumn flower show is on Saturday 12 September at the Church Centre Portsmouth Road, Liphook. We always have children's competitions and would love more entries so am appealing for more children to join in. The classes are as follows: 1, Cheese straws (must be covered in cling film) 2, Ugly face made from fruit or veg OR a portrait in any medium 3, Photo of a pet taken by you (Maximum size A5) The classes are divided between ages under 9 and 10 - 14 inclusive. If you would like to enter please write your name, address, age and classes you would like to enter and post to Mrs A Govier, 137 Haslemere Road, Liphook GU30 7BX or drop in to Liphook Hardware by Wednesday 9th September. The entries will need to be taken to the Church Centre on Saturday 12th September between 7.45 and 10am. You can then pop back to the show between 2 - 4pm and see if you have won! Entry is free for children to enter the competition and free to all to view the exhibits between 2 - 4pm. There are prizes and trophies to win so good luck everyone. Thanks Katy

Re: Children's competition - karen F (10th Sep 2009 - 14:20:30) Hello My children have been busy taking pictures of our dog ready for the competition on Saturday but when I went to Liphook Hardware to register their interest Trevor seemed unclear on the situation. What do I do, just turn up early on Sat morning? Many thanks Karen
