Congratulations to the L i B team! Is it true that we may not be represented in the competition next year owing to a shortage of volunteers?

The Liphook in Bloom team will not make any decisions about the South and South East in Bloom competition until early next year... they're still getting over this year !! But yes, we really would love some more volunteers. A lot of the team have been "blooming" since it began 12 years ago and are not as young as they'd like to be any more. So it would be great to have some more help to take the pressure off them.
The team are absolutely thrilled with the results from the competition and would like to thank all areas of the community... those who live, work and visit here, Friends of Liphook in Bloom and our Sponsors. The awards are for the whole village and without everyone's help in kind or in money it would not be possible. So give yourselves a big pat on the back !
congratulations and thanks to all involved. my sister in law from texas here at the moment and thinks village looks so cared for and the sponsor displays are something special. was very proud of the community and when hands less full (am quite literally holding a baby as i type) next year, plan to lend a hand.
