Carnival AGM & Future of our Carnival Meeting - Karen Feeney (30th Jan 2015 - 15:09:54) Dear All We have decided to have a slightly more elaborate AGM this year and so we are holding the event at the Millennium Hall on Wednesday 4th March at 8pm. The purpose of the evening is to review last year, give out the money to local good causes and then to talk about how we can get more people involved on the committee and also taking part in the procession. The Carnival really does need more support both in terms of committee members (or casual helpers) and to boost the particpants on the actual night. We would love to hear your thoughts on how we can get more people involved or improvements that can be made to ensure we keep going for a few more years yet. We are very lucky that we still have this community event, it is one of the reasons that Liphook is so special but without more help it will struggle to keep going. Please show your support by coming along on Wednesday 4th, we will have refreshments and a chance to socialise too! If you want any further details please do not hesitate to contact me.
