Travellers London Road - G (28th Jan 2015 - 18:31:14)
As you are probably aware. The Travellers who were camped at Radford Park were moved on By East Hants Council. Unfortunately they have only moved to the London Rd lay by. So all the council have achieved is moving this problem and noise nusiance to other Liphook people. For the past couple of weeks we have been subjected to a generator running very late at night. Sometimes until 1am. This was reported to East Hants council and Hampshire County Council two weeks ago and they are still dithering about deciding who owns the land ie footpath which the caravan is parked.
The purpose of this post is to ask if anyone else living along the London Rd near the lay by is worried or concerned about this issue and time it\'s taking to resolve?

Do you mean the caravan that was at Radford park car park? If so I don't think the one on the London road is the same one, it is much older looking than the ones in the park and there is only one where as they family at Radford park had two caravans

Apparently it is the same travellers that were at Radford Park. It has had it's wheels removed and there are at least 3 men living in it. They run a generator late at night which is peeing people off.

Well it only 8.30pm Saurday and already there is loud shouting in the Lay-by and the noisy generator is going full steam. Last night it went all night until very late. Like it has done for the past two week or more. That Poor horse in the field must be a nervous wreck.
