Conveyancing Solicitor - SC (22nd Jan 2015 - 20:29:03) Has anybody moved recently and used a local conveyancing firm? Recommendations please. Also those to steer clear of!! Thanks

Re: Conveyancing Solicitor - R (22nd Jan 2015 - 20:56:49) Roger Petch at Mackarness Lunt in Petersfield or Jane Murphy at Gellhorns in Bordon. Avoid Internet based services like the plague, they may be cheap but in most cases appalling service, especially Countrywide Conveyancing. They were recommended to me by Hamptons (both owned by Mann Countrywide I think) and they were terrible. Could never speak to the actual solicitor I was allocated and just seemed to be pushed from one assistant to another

Would agree with the previous poster about Internet Conveyancing services very poor personal experiences.
