Train Service - Michael Hordern (20th Jan 2015 - 11:13:39) With all the local housing development and subsequent influx of commuters to the village, does anyone know whether South West Trains plan to increase the number of trains stopping at the station?

Re: Train Service - Mark (21st Jan 2015 - 10:44:24) I wonder if, as the election approaches, we can get the local MP onto the whole situation. I've found recently that with SWT trains always late or cancelled I spend huge amounts of time sitting in the cold for an hour at Haslemere or Guildford not wanting to spend £20 or more on a cab and wondering why there is no bus or more stopping trains or SWT laying on alternatives. I appreciate cable being stolen is terrible but non freezing temperatures are not an excuse to cancel all but the fast trains. I know it makes little difference to stop at Liss and Liphook especially when the timetable has gone out of the window. It also appears that SWT get compensation from Network Rail quickly and easily whereas passenger refunds are about as visible as the Liphook Panther.
