new pub in liphook ?

have been told new pub to be opened in or near liphook.
has anyone out there seen any news on this and where it may be ?

The only thing I can think of you possibly referring to is the owners of the old Seven Thorns pub on the A3.
They are requesting I think to have this turned into building land, when the only permission there was for a public house, so they would need a change of use, I think you may have been mislead.
