MP's Expenses

So we are told that changes to the subsistance allowance have been agreed and passed by an all party committee whereby an overnight allowance of £25.00 per night may be claimed but receipts will not need to be submitted.
Given that this was drawn up by the late Speaker Martin before his departure and hastily rubber stamped by his successor, what are we to make of it?
More to the point is this a system that finds favour with our MP? I think we should be told.
