need furniture - tony (29th Jul 2009 - 02:12:43) hi, ive just moved in2 liphook and need to buy all furniture 4 my new place, if any1 knows of any1 gettin rid of some stuff please let me no, i could pick up, thanx

Re: need furniture - Dawn Hoskins (29th Jul 2009 - 10:59:14) Hi there If you register for FreeCycle - which is run by Yahoo Groups you can become a member of the Bordon/Alton/Petersfield group and also the Guildford group. All sorts of things come up - you'd be surprised at what people are prepared to give away! I have a radiator going spare if you want it (could always use it as a large doorstop).

Over the years i have picked up some great stuff there very very cheaply ( I get into trouble for coming home from the tip with more than i took!!) Also the car boot sale at country market (A325 Farnham Road) on a sunday morning is worth a look.

Re: need furniture - marian camilleri (4th Aug 2009 - 21:09:26) Have you tried the furniture helpline charity in Bordon. I know they have a van to collect donations with so may be able to deliver. When I have donated to them in the past the furniture has been in good condition but surplus to requirements. It might be worth a look.
