wanted - children's toys - Sumi Olson (28th Jul 2009 - 12:38:00) hello does anyone have any of the following for sale for toddlers/pre-schoolers? 1 small child's slide suitable for toddlers 2) combined sand & water pit/table for example ELC or little tykes 3) small child's table & chairs willing to pay between £10-15 each item depending on condition (excellent or vgc) and accessories included, or make equivalent donation to preferred charity. 4) assorted ELC musical instruments such as Wooden Glockenspiel/ drum, percussion toys willing to pay between £5-10 depending on condition (excellent or vgc) and accessories included, or make equivalent donation to preferred charity. will collect. many thanks !!!!!! Re: wanted - children's toys - Mel (28th Jul 2009 - 14:02:21) Have you thought about signing up to Freecycle? There are very often childrens toys on there. There is a reciprocol arrangement whereby you can only ask for things if you have posted things to give away - it is a way of reducing landfill and recycling serviceable items that otherwise would be dumped.

I heard about Freecycle when I lived in London and am a member of the Bordon, Whitehill & Petersfield group which covers our area. I do think it's a great way to reduce landfill waste and helps to declutter the house! Since writing I've got a table and two chairs so thanks to anyone who can help with any thing else. Sumi
