Books (lots of them)

I need to declutter our book shelves, therefore, I now have 4 large bags FULL of books from a variety of authors.
Does anyone want them or can advise me where I could take them, where they will be appreciated? I only know of 1 charity shop in the village and this amount of books may be too many. Need them gone ASAP.
