c.r.e.w day - barbara (20th Jul 2009 - 11:25:38) For those of you who missed the article in the newspaper, this is information for you- PC Jo Utting and PC Helen Murphy are organising on Thursday 23rd July a day in Liphook, < part of CRime reduction Environment week> , there will be a litter pick and also a free barbeque I believe on the village green, for those who help out. The Scouts and Guides are also involved. If you phone 01730 234166 Community safety liason Officers they will have further details. Hope the weather is good!

Re: c.r.e.w day - barbara (22nd Jul 2009 - 12:40:29) I do not know exactly why it was cancelled sorry, the Parish council agreed at the last full council meeting to fund the barbeque food, perhaps they could not find enough volunteers? I only found out this monday it had been cancelled. [editor - just heard from EHDC - "We only cancelled it last week as we didn't realise it clashed with the Fun Fair!" ]
