Thanks for the welcome
- John Novell (28th Dec 2014 - 08:12:02)
I moved to Liphook in the summer. My first contact with Liphook was in February when I viewed the house. I used the car park off the square and was looking confusedly for a machine to pay. A kind lady stopped her car to tell me that parking was free (I instantly fell in love with the place). Since I moved I have met some really friendly people. The Liphook Fish & Chip shop staff noticed I was new, were really helpful and remembered me some weeks later when I went back, the proprietor of the hardware store in station road is so friendly, my neighbours on either side in Headley Road are lovely and recently a complete stranger helped push my car when it got stuck in the mud. Is there something in the water in Liphook? I have yet to meet anyone unfriendly. I live alone having just divorced and it is really nice to feel part of a community. Thank you all for making me feel welcome. John

How lovely, no moans and groans, just someone feeling welcome, long may it last, and welcome to Liphook John
