Does any one know what all the police were doing in the London Road yesterday about 1.30pm at the bottom of Tower Road, there must have been at least 8 / 10 police cars there?????

Knowing hampshire police they were probably lost and i didnt realise they had that many police cars

There was a car accident. A car drive into a pedestrian. The Hems ambulance service parked at the rec. Don't know any more than that but someone was seriously hurt.

Just to put everyone’s mind at rest a long standing popular resident in the London road parked his car in his drive and forgot the put the hand brake on and the car run over him. Fortunately there were 2 BT men working in the road and rushed to his aid and pushed the car off of him and called the emergence services immediately. Luckily he was not injured seriously but has very painful broken ribs.
I am sure you would all like to wish him well.
