Time to Get Equal Week - Barry Hope (9th Jun 2009 - 16:42:37) From this week (June 8-14) the disability charity Scope will be celebrating Time to Get Equal Week – its annual awareness raising week – which celebrates disabled people’s contribution to society and also raises awareness about the barriers that disabled people still face today. We are encouraging people to support Time to Get Equal Week and take action to ensure that disabled people are treated fairly in our society. One easy way you can do this is by signing Scope’s pledge to support disabled people’s equality. I would like to appeal to residents of Bramshott & Liphook to join me and sign the pledge.
