Does anyone know what % of the electorate voted in the recent County Council elections?

Total Votes Cast 4476
Turnout 35.29%
Previous Turnout 66.24%

South East European Result
Conservative 812,288 votes 34.8% (-0.4%) - 4 MEPs
UK Independence Party 440,002 votes 18.8% (-0.7%) - 2 MEPs
Liberal Democrats 330,340 votes 14.1% (-1.2%) - 2 MEPs
Green Party 271,506 votes 11.6% (+3.8%) - 1 MEP
Labour 192,592 votes 8.2% (-5.4%) - 1 MEP
South East electorate 6,231,875
South East turnout 2,334,858 = 37%
Interestingly the national turnout for the European Election was even lower at just 34%

So 2/3rds of the population think that MEPs are not worth a vote.
Not much better for local elections.
What % will the next national election achieve?
With the latest round of expenses revalations even David the Good has been caught out.
Looks like Dennis Skinner for President.
