How Christmassy the village looks

May I just start a new thread to say how wonderfully, timelessly Christmassy the village looks. As soon as 1st December was here, the men were hard at work putting them up. They are jolly on dark evenings, make the children excited for Christmas time ahead and they remind me of all those decorations that come out year after year and are loved all the more for it.
Thank you whoever is responsible and Merry Christmas.
