Just had email from enterprise offering the pub again.Mind you 900 £a week can see why no one wants to stay.Good luck as this will be flats before long

That's a shame. I went there for the first time on Saturday. Received a very warm welcome, the beer was good and the mix of the two bars was just right. Just when we get a decent pub in the centre of the village!

I thought the boys running the pup were getting on really well!
Are they really leaving already? I am very surprised if they are!

I think someone's having a laugh maybe a bit of a bitter pill

Re: Green dragon
- S (4th Dec 2014 - 23:17:01)

Well someone was definitely having a laugh when they wrote "this type of pub rarely comes to the market" on the advert!

The place seems to spend more time on the market than it does off!

according to the advert 'the railway' is still a pub???

maybe denmwad had the answer locals buy it all club together

Re: Green dragon
- trev & dave (8th Dec 2014 - 20:20:52)

if there are any questions over the pub, then come in and speak to us, we will even place a phone call to enterprise for you to get the facts straight for you because it really is bothering some people. trev & dave. xx

Re: Green dragon

Maybe the advert is out of date.

Trev and Dave are doing a wonderful job. The pub is a pub again. It's lost the clicky feel that it used to have, because they make everyone feel welcome. It will be a success now because it has people running it who understand what the place is and needs. I don't know why people be negative because they clearly haven't been in to see what it's like now, or they'd know the ad is nonsense. Well done to trev and Dave.

Lily - glad you cleared that one up -

Maybe someone should inform Trev & Dave of the huge TO LET sign on the side of their pub in that case, it might be misleading!!! ;)

It must be the council funded TOILETS but missed the Eye
