Tower of London poppies

Have you or someone you know bought a poppy from the Tower of London? I write for the Liphook Community Magazine and the editorial committee thought it would be a lovely idea to do a piece about the poppies - if relevant to Liphook/Bramshott. No offence to those of you who bought a poppy to support the fund-raising but we're only interested in those who have bought a poppy in memory of a specific person connected to World War I. I bought a poppy in memory of my great uncle. Although he is not a local man, originally being from Cumberland, he did leave from Witley camp just up the A3 near Milford. Three weeks later he was dead. If you\'re interested the editor has my email.
