Portsmouth Road
- Col (30th Nov 2014 - 10:26:14)

Just to warn drivers. The Portsmouth Road is still partially shut near the station Road junction due to a speeding car swerving into the new flats opposite the Bohunt manor frontage land (old jet garage site) last night.

Just to let everyone know before the Monday morning rush begins, that the Portsmouth Road is now closed fully again following the accident on Saturday evening. So the signage in the village is correct and it's best to follow the diversion as you can't get any further than the Bohunt Manor drive.
Just thought I would put this on as it might stop everyone ignoring the signs which is happening, and will save a people having to queue to turn round.

Why do so many people think Road Closed signs do not apply to them?

How about this for a timely conviction to describe the fact that however important you (think) you are or however late you are - road signs apply to all humans in moving vehicles. Full stop.

Surrey County Council's member for highways and transport Cllr John Furey was convicted of a second driving offence in three years after ignoring a road closure!!!

Also, in this day and age why on earth do people think it is OK to get in the car and drive when they are pi+++d? I hope she gets locked up.

Well let us hope the developers are doing their traffic survey today, it is going to be mayhem!

Bohunt and chicken farm too come, I'm sure it will not be an issue;)

Have EHCC got their 5 year plan volumes now the Bordon Development has been given approval?

Can the Gold rush stop now?

What happened? It looks terrible. Poor people who's flats are affected just before Christmas.
