Deaf Community - BSL Speakers

Deaf Community

Are there any deaf people in the community here – or perhaps any relations or workers that speak BSL (British Sign Language)?

Hi, I'm hearing but have been learning BSL for the past few years and would love to meet other local BSL users.

I have put a post on the Grayshott blog as well in case there are any deaf/BSL speakers there.

What other local village blogs are there? Is there one for Headley or Arford, or Whitehill or Petersfield?

Myself and another person went to the local deaf Christmas party in Ripley. There were about 30 people there.

It was superb fun, with a mix of hearing BSL speakers and deaf BSL speakers.

If you know of any local people who are either deaf or speak BSL then do please get in touch.

I would like to meet anyone else with any level of BSL so I can practice without driving too far.

Anyone that knows of any British Sign Language speakers in the area please pass on the details of this site so they can contact me.
