Sainsburys
- Shirley (17th Nov 2014 - 13:03:34)

It's bad enough shopping in the pre Christmas period anyway without going into the shop today to find (or not find!) everything on the move. Waitrose here I come.

Nothing like getting in the festive mood is there!!!

Where do you expect them to put seasonal goods? Things have to move to make space. Just take an extra few minutes to do your shopping.

Bah humbug to you too.

Some people will moan about anything. Ultimately the changes are to benefit the customer.

I don't think there's enough jam in the jam doughnuts these days to describe them as such under the trades description act.

Same problem with the fish fingers. All fingers and no thumbs.
Never can find a packet of thumbs.Suppose as only two per fish there is a natural shortage of them.

Never mind the fish fingers. Have you seen the state of their grimly crumbling basket handles? Get some new ones into Santa's sack.

Re: Sainsburys
- H (18th Nov 2014 - 15:29:23)

Boris - This is no problem for the Trades Description Act though as they're not marketed as "Fish Hands" or even "Fish Thumbs" for that matter. Indeed, I'd be very disappointed to find a thumb in my fish fingers.

Perhaps you can get fish thumbs in Lidl though?

I was most disappointed when I went in to purchase pigs in blankets .

Won't be long now till the emergence of the lesser
spotted Cadburys crème egg, often seen at Sainsburys
the week commencing Jan 1st

Looks like the initial comment re:- Sainsburys has brought out a few vegan/crossfit trolls from the woodwork.

Oh dear Mac - who'd have thought the proposed new road through Liphook was in reality the sense of humour bypass
