External hard drive - broken help! - Amanda B (9th Nov 2014 - 14:15:25) I have an external hard drive holding 6 years of photos which has recently failed so I cannot access them. The harddrive doesn't get recognised my my laptop when plugged in. Can anyone recommend someone/ business locally who might be able to take a look to see if anything can be retrieved? My neighbour has very kindly take a look but at the present time my photos are lost. Any suggestion welcome. Thanks

I manage our shop in Farnham and would be happy to take a look, it would be worth removing the hard drive from the caddy as it might just be the powerboard that's blown.
