I stopped to assist and can confirm that neither gentlemen [are] in fatal condition.
Police on the scene very quickly but ambulance took over 30 minutes to arrive (a bit quicker than the hideous Passfield accident but still unacceptable). Bring the ambulances back to Haslemere Please
Thank you to the residents opposite who supplied coats and blankets.
It really did make me feel angry to see so many people stopping to gawp, surprised they didnt crash their own cars with the amount of neck straining they were doing!
Anyway apart from two written off vehicles and a bit of shock, I think both parties will recover, although one is still in hospital.
