Damage to car- Midhurst Road Carpark

At some point between 9am and 12pm today (Thursday 6th November), substantial damage occurred to a friends car in Midhurst Road Car Park.
It appears that some sort of white/silver vehicle reversed out of the parking space next to this car, scraping all along the side panels of the drivers side. There is no way the person driving the other vehicle would have been unaware of the fact, and I find it disgusting they decided to just drive off, leaving damage which will cost well into the hundreds to get sorted.
If anyone saw anything then please let me know.
