Swine Flu
- Eneida (1st May 2009 - 17:24:06)

So what does everybody think about all these dire headlines going round....are you all quaking in your shoes or do you think the whole thing has been hyped-up?? I've even read that the family of one victim in London have hired the publicist Max Clifford to represent them...what ever for!

I know that real flu is very nasty indeed and I'm old enough to remember getting one of the Asian ones when I was a little girl...my parents got it too and many of their friends and we were all very poorly for about 2 weeks, but nobody died.

One bit of good news hot off the Brazilian press (hope Finchie isn't reading this because I don't want to set him off!) the Mexican Health minister has just reported that the number of new cases has significantly dropped for the first time....

"Brazilian press" - are those tight pants !?

I should be in no danger of contracting Swine Flu though, as I have been applying the oinkment !

Happy Long Weekend !

Cheers, Finchie

Gosh!! Can't help thinking what unfortunate names some poor children are saddled with nowadays....I blame Gordon Brown!!

I mean, fancy going through life called The Joker or even worse, Health Authority :O .....makes me glad I was given quite an ordinary name ;)
