Dog Sitting - Kate (15th Oct 2014 - 18:25:56) I know there have been a few people in the area looking for dog sitters and I wanted to recommend - Pooch Trekker! I left my puppy with the lovely Julie and Andy each day for over a week and each morning my puppy couldn't wait to get out the car to visit them. He was very happy playing with their two dogs and didn't seem at all fussed to leave at the end of the day. What I loved the most was that it was like home from home. She will stay in your house while you are away and takes care of all sorts of different pets,including horses. She treats pets as though they are her own, and they are always pleased to see her. My little dog is highly nervous of human beings, but loves other dogs, due to his bad start in life. Julie had my little guy for a week in June, I had previously left him with family members, and he always came home having lost weight due to his pining. But with Julie and Andy along with their own dogs, my little guy had such a fab time he was rather reluctant to come home and they made sure he ate all his food every day, even to the point of hand feeding him. He is already booked in for his next holiday, and gets so excited at the mention of going back. I feel sure my little dog thinks he is getting a five star holiday.
