Vacant Shops in Liphook - Interested Shopkeeper (13th Oct 2014 - 21:14:44)
I notice there are quite a few empty shops in Liphook, does anyone know who the landlords are for these properties and what sort of rental they'd hope to achieve?
HSBC Building (Square)
EM Motors (Square/London Road)
Finch Group (Square)
Midhurst Court (opposite Beaver Industrial Estate)
Five Petals
I'd also be grateful if you know of other empty shops.

Some of these have got numbers in the windows regarding letting. Five Petals and HSBC. Go and look and there are phone numbers on them.
I had heard the old car parts shop was let to a piano shop but that has remained empty.

Five petal is Steve Cook from the Petersfield branch of Liphook Valet Dry Cleaners.

HSBC ----------- the for sale sign has gone
RM Colours --------There is building work going on at the back and I have been told it is going to be an organ shop
Finch Group ---------------Looks like it has now been sold as sign has gone
Midhurst Court-------------This building belongs to a vet in Haslemere and is used for storage
Petals--------------------------No idea
If you are looking for commercial property in Liphook I suggest you contact EHDC as Wimpey who are developing the OSU site, have to build commercial/retail property on that site after they have built 10 houses before they continue. . I brought it up at the planning meeting on Monday asking them to try and make Wimpy stick to their contract but we need people like you to contact EHDC to show there is a desperate need for retail unites in Liphook as there are no empty ones now and our only last hope is to get the last brown field site developed

I used to lease five petals . You can go into dry cleaners next door and leave your number , mr Cooke will get back to you
