Greatham Goings On

I have just met up for lunch with a friend from Greatham who I have not seen for some time. She told me that Councillor Trodden had resigned from Greatham Council and thought that it was something to do with a planning application or the like. He used to come on this site a lot shouting the odds. Perhaps he decided to keep quiet after one of the newspapers exposed what was going on in his shop. She had also seen police cars and policemen at Councillor Jerrard's house in the evening some weeks back, and there had been something going on, and she thought it could have been some sort of fight. Perhaps someone else knows what has been going on?
