Bonfires

Is it really necessary for bonfires to be lit during the day, especially at the weekend? For 2 weekends running (on 13/09 at about 10am for most of the day & 21/09 in the afternoon - the first being infinitely worse than the second) someone on Gunns Farm has had a bonfire. Is it too much to ask that people are thoughtful enough to look out of the window to see if a neighbour has just hung out 3 loads of washing! A little bit of courtesy & neighbourliness would be appreciated. How about taking the rubbish to the tip thus saving us all from the pollution!
