Blooming Liphook
- Sumi Olson (8th Apr 2009 - 10:09:31)

I meant to write in earlier but haven't had a chance - can I just say that I've really enjoyed the displays that Liphook in Bloom (and their sponsors) have put together for the village?

It's been such a joy to see the colours and different plantings, especially when the sun's out but even when it's grey, it's a cheery sight.

Thanks for the time and effort you put in, chaps (and chapesses) - you really raise the standard for the village!

Sumi

Sumi,

I couldn't agree with you more!

I went to the Liphook Market on Saturday and really got a thrill visiting Liphook in daylight and seeing the gorgeous flower displays all over the village.

Usually, I have been there only in the dark..and had I known that the President of Liphook in Bloom was the nice gentleman who sold me the tomato plants for my hanging basket,I would have congratulated and thanked him and his hardworking Team.

So,three cheers for Terry Burns and Liphook in Bloom!

PS Not hip.hip but tulip,tulip.hooray!

Sudha.

Another agreement!! I think Liphook in Bloom all work really hard and the flower beds are a credit to them. They are often out in groups - weeding and digging. They do a marvellous job and thoroughly deserve our thanks
