Black Labrador
- Nicki (12th Sep 2014 - 15:55:01)
We have found a female black Labrador who hooked up with us on a walk this morning. She is very sweet and in season. I have bought her home with us as when I took her to the vet the receptionist said the dog warden would have taken her to Farnborough. I think she must live on the Wheatsheaf Enclosure or surrounding area as she joined us just a bit further up the track from North End Farm.
Can anyone help reunite this lovely dog with its owner.
Please call me on 07748908900

Hi there...
You could try registering the dog on doglost.co.uk - they have a dog found section.
While I think it's lovely of you to take the dog home with you, so her owner doesn't have to travel too far to collect her, be careful, because I think you'll find that it's the law to contact the Dog Warden when you've found a dog, otherwise in the worst case scenario, you could be accused of theft.
Fingers crossed you'll reunite the dog really soon - in season, hummm, hope she's been a good girl!!
Good luck.

Hi
There was a Black Lab, went missing and re-united in 2010,

Maybe worth giving that lady a call, to see if its her dog?

do be careful if someone tries to claim her, try and find some feature on her that they will recognise as their dog. Then ask them to describe it before you hand her over.Bitch in season, there are some rogues out there that would claim her, and breed from her. This is why microchipping is so important.
