I will be there to buy some more honey! My children have worked their way through a whole jar since the last Producers Market. Completely amazed as my youngest child barely eats anything but has taken a real shine to honey!

what flavour ice creams are you bringing on saturday, Ben? Need to get some for my mother this weekend and don't want to hear you've run out again!
Cheers,
Sumi
House Flavours
Vanilla - A staple of any Ice Cream range, ours is created using only the purest, juiciest and fattest Madagascan Vanilla beans.
Honey – A perfect partnership Dylan's Ice Cream mixed with a bit of the finest local honey.
Malt – Mum's favourite. The use of malt extract in this Ice Cream creates an interesting flavour somewhere between Horlicks and Maltesers
Seasonal flavours of the day.
Ever changing but include;
Strawberry
Summer berries
Mint chocolate chip
White Chocolate
Damson
Caramel
Blackcurrant
Brown Bread

Ben,
I cannot contact you on your mobile for some reason.
Do you still have a table for the Gurkha Chautari to sell some savoury snacks this Saturday?
Please reply.
Thanks,
Sudha.

Ben,
It was great fun at the Liphook Producers Market.I think I bought more than I sold but so what...it was really enjoyable to meet people, local and from as far as Devon who came along!
As it was Easter weekend, I guess many people were away but if we continue to advertise and invite more stall holders, from near and far, this will take off successfully.
I noticed that the Redford market had published their dates for several months ahead.Maybe we should get our dates known as well so that people are well informed.
Also, it was great to see the support you got from your family. I was planning to help you tidy up at the end but had to deal with the flat tyre!
If I can assist in any way to advertise the Market please do not hesitate to ask. I certainly told most of our customers at the Chautari on Saturday evening including Dawn who has just opened her new shop in Station Road. You will just have to come down to see what it kind of shop it is!
Thanks once again and we did enjoy your strawberry ice cream.
Sudha.

Hi Ben,
I know that there is the Liphook Producers Market on the 10th April...how many stalls do you usually have and what sort of produce?
Its just that I was thinking of holding a stall with some Pashmina shawls but don't feel it is a "produce " as such.
I recall buying some tomato seedlings last year but had to give the lovely tomatoes away as we went away in the Summer.

- Ben Govier (6th Apr 2010 - 22:42:00)
Hello Sudha, yes you would be welcome. It would certainly be different to any of the other stalls.
But I'm afraid you will have to wait until May for the Tomato Plants, blame our winter.
Also we are always looking for new producers, especially FOOD producers. If anyone fancies giving it a go or knows someone who might, I can be contacted on 07816133348
Liphook Producers' Market. Saturday 11th April, 10 -12. Liphook Village Hall.
Thanks

Oh! I am sooooo jealous of you, Dawn and all those lucky people who went to the market this morning!
Unfortunately, this weekend was my turn to work....this time last year I bought some tomato plants there and I was so pleased with the harvest. Hope there will be more plants for sale at next month's market.

Hi Ben,
I was wondering if you think there maybe any call for a handmade candles and crafts stall at the market and if so we may like a table for the september date.
can you let us know the drill - what time we have to set up and things like that please?
I use to sell candles at the liphook junior school fete back in the day, it use to be a really nice thing to do so im sure we'd enjoy your market to.

Re: Liphook producers market
- Ben Govier (17th Jul 2010 - 22:52:36)
There is currently no one selling homemade candles at the market so you would be more than welcome to give it at go.
The next market is Saturday 14th August 2010 open 10 -12 to the public in Liphook Village Hall,
I open the hall by 9, so stall holders arrive any time between 9 and 9:55 depending on how long it takes them to set up. Tables and chairs are supplied by the hall, although they are on the small side.
Cost wise it is £5 per table payable on the day.
If you are interested leave a message here, or I can be emailed on ben@liphookmarket.co.uk

Hi Ben. I noticed in "Round &About" which is dropped through my door advertise all the local Farmer's Markets - I think it is free - you might want to contact them and see if you can get a Liphook entry. www.roundandaboutssh.co.uk It would be great to know ahead when they are happening.

Just two more markets this year.
This Saturday 13th November and December 11th. Still 10 - 12 in the Village Hall.

Re: Liphook producers market
- Natalie (9th Nov 2010 - 20:00:51)
Hi All,
This will be the 3rd market we are selling at and it really is good fun to get involved in something for the community we have put our hobbies to good use and have really enjoyed sharing our ideas with the people who buy them.
We will definitely be at the market on Saturday and as the festive season is just around the corner we will have some Christmas candles and other gift ideas!! We hand make all of our products and will be happy to gift wrap, as well as pack all your gifts in our individually made recycled paper bags.
Please come and support Ben’s great idea - in the lead up to Christmas it couldn’t be a better time to snap up some unique handmade presents - something the mass market can’t provide.
See you Saturday
Natalie

I visited for the first time this month. The marmalade I bought for my husband , he tells me, is absolutely delicious. I will definitely be visiting again next month to stock up. Just wanted to give some positive feedback on a local event.

Really glad you enjoyed the marmalade. Will be making some more of the lemon and the grapefruit for December. No more orange until the Sevilles arrive in Jan/Feb. Am making proper mincemeat and a couple of alcohol drenched Christmas cakes along with a Christmas Tea Ring, sticky ginger cake and the ever popular lemon drizzle cake for the December market.
Any particular requests are welcome and I will do my best to accommodate them.
Look forward to seeing you in December.
Lesley
