Just Jhoom! Junior Jhoom - Rebecca Amlani (1st Sep 2014 - 23:55:32) After a successful Summer of Holiday clubs in the local areas and popular school displays and demonstration, Just Jhoom! is for Juniors comes to Liphook. Just Jhoom! is an excellent way to encourage children to engage in fitness and lead an active healthy lifestyle. It is a high energy programme yet suitable for people of all ability levels. Dancing as a group also creates a harmonious and bonding atmosphere, which goes against the grain of the usual competitive nature of most sports. Above all, it provides a full body workout whilst having lots of fun! Just Jhoom! Junior Jhoom! enhances flexibility and fitness levels in the children working to the guidelines set out by the government in the curriculum. I use dance props such as sticks, flags etc, where the children learn traditional dances and modern dances. The techniques taught also include the children learning the art of storytelling through dance using hand gestures and facial expressions. This weekly club will be for kids aged 5-16.
