Is Bordon going to get a proper town centre, with a cinema, bowling alley etc, and places for the youth

Might be worth phoning EHDC and asking the case officer. I know that they are planning to build thousands of houses and are not planning to re-introduce a rail link.

Allegedly. This is the sweetener for the 1000s of houses with little improvement in infrastructure which seems to be the current development trend.
We were promised all of those facilities when the land known as 'Viking Park' became available. This is where 'The Woodlark' (2 for 1) is. The only other development on that site is a business unit which employs about 10 people.
The land remains undeveloped 8 years later. I believe Asda expressed an interest but were turned down.
