Dentistry - broken crown - first class cosmetic dentist locally? - JW (20th Aug 2014 - 17:56:53) Distressed to have broken a crown, is there a recommendation for a really well qualified dentist? Have heard that there is someone in the High Street Dental practice in Petersfield, Dariush Irani, who does their cosmetic dentistry, has anyone any real knowledge about his ability? Someone also mentioned a cosmetic dental practice in Clanfield. If anyone has genuine experience of anyone in the area who is really good, I would appreciate advice. Meanwhile, have given up smiling...

I have been unfortunate enough to have needed 3 crowns over the years and dentists are not my favourite people but Emma is fantastic and I can't sing her praises enough.

Re: Dentistry - broken crown - first class cosmetic dentist locally? - DML (21st Aug 2014 - 14:22:58) JW - I was recently referred to Emma by my own dentist for a particularly tricky root canal treatment, and I was very impressed. I can't vouch for her prosthetic work, but she has discussed possibles with me as I also need crowns/bridge and she has been very helpful and informative. Her name is Emma Clayton-Jones BDS. I believe she also has her own technician. Her phone number is 01428 605594. The info sheet she gave me says: Special interest in Endodontics. Qualified from Kings, London in 1995 and worked in hospital training posts until joining the Practice in 1997. Has concentrated her post graduate training mainly in the field of endodontics attaining the Certificate in Endodontics at the Eastman in 2008. I hope that helps - I feel your pain!
