Part time staff wanted for Hollycombe Steam
- Brian Gooding (11th Jul 2014 - 08:21:07)
The popular Hollycombe Working Steam Museum has an urgent need for catering staff to help run its busy cafeteria and help develop the menu offered.
The position is seasonal and temporary, but exceptional candidates may be invited to return for future seasons. There are some opportunities for extra hours during the winter period.
The museum is normally open on Sundays & Bank Holidays between Easter and October, as well as five days a week during most of the school summer holidays. Occasional Saturdays are also required.
These are part time positions and may suit people who are recently retired, though anyone with the right experience, qualifications or ability will be considered.
A Basic Food Hygiene certificate is a definite asset as would be managerial experience, though this is not essential for the junior post.
Wages are paid monthly in arrears and are dependent on hours worked. Own transport is necessary – or a good pair of legs!
If interested, please email a CV in confidence to Brian Gooding via email to: info@hollycombe.co.uk or write to him at: Hollycombe Working Steam Museum, Iron Hill, Liphook, Hampshire, GU30 7LP as soon as possible.

Hello Brian, I have a 14 and 15 yr old both looking for school holiday/weekend work, do you have a minimum age restriction?
Thanks, Jo

Hello Jo
We are really looking for people a bit older as they have to deal with the public and all that that entails! However, I will certainly bear yours in mind.
Brian
