Horse Help - Karen (9th Jul 2014 - 13:20:03) Is there anyone out there that would be prepared to let us come to your stables with our dog and get her used to seeing horses. It is a real problem when walking on common land in as much as she cannot understand why they are walking in her environment and there is a person sitting on top she likes to have a bark. She is not malicious or aggressive just needs to be around them more often to realise there is not a problem and we can all walk together. She was introduced as a puppy and was fine but has not seen horses on a regular basis for her to ignore them. She is now 18 months and growing up and would love someone to help us out please. I always have respect when I see horses and riders out but sometimes it is unavoidable when walking paths that we meet, would really welcome any help.
