Re: New Look - Eneida (13th Mar 2009 - 11:25:52) I like the 'new look'......but it's a nuisance because it's now too wide for my computer screen and I have to keep scrolling it from left to right!! It's no good suggesting I change the size of the screen because then I'd have to go to Specsavers :( Eneida [editor - sorry about that Eneida - what screen size are you using - we will come up with a clever way around the problem - no doubt !]

Re: New Look - Alan Baker (14th Mar 2009 - 18:31:47) And now - just for Eneida - we have a 'narrow' version of the site back - same look - but for an 800 pixel wide screen. Still in 'beta' at the moment - the talkback search doesn't work - but otherwise should resolve your problem. To get to the narrow site just click '800 wide site' in the banner bar at the top of the page. To get back to the new 'wide' site just click the liphook logo (top left of screen) Alan

But, am I the only person who doesn't like having to update a posting by scrolling through all the previous posts ? Newest post at the top of the "box" would be really great. Keep up the good work though.

Re: New Look - Editor (19th Mar 2009 - 11:07:07) Hi Anne These changes would make a minor difference to how long 'talk back' takes to load, as we now display 20 'threads' down the page rather than 15. But with a normal ADSL connection this should hardly be noticeable. The addition of the 'search' facility does not appear to affect the performance of the page. Will be interesting to see if anyone else has noticed any speed issues. We can't detect any changes here. Alan Baker
