For what purpose do you use this website - Editor (25th Jun 2014 - 14:47:58) The original poster has made the following request I have a legal right to ask for my thread and comments to be removed from this website. so please remove this whole thread. I have therefore complied.

Re: For what purpose do you use this website - Ian (26th Jun 2014 - 14:47:07) Its a shame [the OP] took this stance as it was a relevant point to make, there are occasions where the same old moaners appear but the point with freedom of speech is that it is there for EVERYONE and you cannot expect to go on this forum and not have others disagree with you. It does seem we are increasingly in a world where some people cry they are being victimised where simply someone is just stating an alternative point of view

I have met a lady who wanted to start a book club, we got that going, I have stared a mindfulness course through this page. My children have started scouts and football through the information on this site. I have found a wimdow cleaner and cleaner through adverts. I have gone to the local village hall for sales that have been advertised on here. Etc etc Many thanks to the editor and all that contribute on here. It has helped us in the move to the UK.

I wonder why someone would start a thread that asked a question if they were not prepared for people to respond! Personally, I mostly use this website for the Talkback page, which is often interesting, often entertaining and sometimes thought provoking. It's also very informative. Long may it continue!
