Mature Movers - Having A Ball - mature movers (17th Jun 2014 - 17:21:25) This week, 16th - 22nd June, the United Nations are promoting an initiative called "Having a Ball" encouraging people to exercise through dance. Mature Movers meet weekly in the Scout Hall on Wednesdays between 9.30am-10.30am, and this week we will be joining in this initiative and exercising using ZUMBA. To encourage others to join us, the cost of a trial class this term is £4, so why not come along tomorrow, or sometime in the next few weeks and have a go at ZUMBA and other exercises aimed primarily at people over 60 but includes others who find it difficult to join in a main stream class. I feel invigorated and in good spirits after every class as well as feeling that it helps me to keep flexible. The classes are good fun and we laugh a lot - which is also very good for you.
