Sky dish connection problems and bees
- Susie McAuley (16th Jun 2014 - 20:20:18)

I have had problems with losing the signal when we have heavy rain for a while but couldn't face a call out fee of £60 before they have even looked at it, from sky. Does anyone know of anyone who can help?

The bees have nested on the opposite side of the house in the eves of the flat roof, I think they are bumbles which, correct me if I'm wrong, are a protected species and need a specialist to move them, again, anyone know of someone who can help? I have no idea how you will get in to remove them!

When that is all sorted I'll have to phone Tim Wiggins to fix the gutter. Think I need a lottery win.

We had a similar bee problem last week. It depends on what species of Bee it is. We called Pest Busters, based in Milland and he solved the problem. Very knowledgable and excellent service.
His contact number is 07831 431465

Susie - Be careful about calling pest controllers in for bees - some of them can be a bit heavy handed - there is no need to kill bees! There are a lot of 'bee people' around who will give you advice on this and maybe help you move them - depending if they're honey or bumble - search 'Bees' in the Talkback Search box at the top of the page, there's a few threads on this site already about bees with a lot of useful info.

Thank you all for the bee advice, I've been advised to leave them. I quite glad really they make me smile every morning.
