Keys Found
- Jay W (12th Jun 2014 - 13:34:14)

Have just found some car keys in the Lowsley fields. If they are yours please contact me.

Unfortunately no means of identification other than Nectar card so I have rung them to see if they would contact you and pass on my phone number ..... they said they would, took the details, cancelled your Nectar card and then said they weren't allowed to "cold call" and would only be able to pass on my number when you ring to reinstate your Nectar card - sorry, that wasn't what I intended!

Anyway, please ring me on 07855 823 699 if the keys are yours.

Contacting police as no takers so far.

Hi Jay,

Thanks for getting in touch and they're not mine.

BUT - big thanks to someone who dropped mine off today. A big mystery!

Please get in touch, so I can thank you.

Cheers, Finchie

So I've had these keys since June and they don't seem to have been reported either to the Police or to Nectar because no-one has contacted me. I can't believe someone hasn't noticed they have lost them.

I can't keep them forever but am loathe to just bin them, having had to replace one of my car keys I know how expensive they are.

Do we still have a police office at the Millennium Centre? I wonder if I should just drop them through the letterbox there and let them deal with it?

Just a thought..maybe they were the keys to the car that was dumped and abandoned in the layby next to the post box in the avenue. The owner could have tossed them over the fence into the field maybe?

Re: Keys Found

Possibly Ginny but they did have a nectar card and photo key ring with them - would have thought they would have been removed if car dumped?

I'll give it a little longer. They've now been put in our kitchen drawer along with all the other odds and ends ... probably won't be able to find them if the owner ever does turn up!

This is the picture attached to the keys. Do you recognise these children and therefore the owner of the keys ?

Owner located, picture removed - thanks!

Yes! The mum of the children often goes to Little lambs at the church centre on a Tuesday morning!

Can't remember here name but I think she lives in Bordon which is why she probably hasn't seen any of these posts!

Could you maybe drop them at the church centre and they could keep them for her?

Could you post this onto the Facebook pages related to Bordon, there are loads of selling pages and a Bordon page also. Might be worth a shot

I hope the mum doesn't mind that pictures of her children are now being circulated on the Internet.

I guess it depends how much she wants the keys back. As soon as they have been returned the picture will be removed.

I'm sure the mum doesn't mind. She's miss placed her keys with a pic of her kids on. I'm sure she will be grateful.

Hello,

I believe the keys are my parent's car keys which were indeed lost in Loseley fields some time ago. My parent's have since moved but I am seeing them this weekend. I will call you to arrange the key collection and thank you so much for keeping hold of them all this time.

The children in the photo are mine and yes, I would be grateful if the picture could be removed but it was fortunate this link was the link that have finally reunited the keys with their owner.

Thank you again for your persistence in finding the key owner.

Treena

Glad to hear they'll be reunited with the keys, and photograph. We've removed the photograph from this thread now.
